ADEBUSOLA (BUSOLA) ADEKOYA

Biography:

Adebusola (Busola) Adekoya is a registered nurse and PhD graduate from the School of Public Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo. Her research focuses on innovations, spanning technologies, practices, and policies to mitigate the risk of people living with dementia going missing. Busola’s doctoral work examined the development and implementation of alert systems and related policies to locate missing persons with dementia in Canada, Scotland, and the United States. She is committed to advancing research, policy, and practice to enhance safety and quality of life of people living with dementia and their care partners through creative, evidence-informed solutions.
