Just quickly sharing the Fast Fact Sheets offered through the National Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains (NCMPUR). These Fast Fact Sheets provide a quick snapshot on missing persons cases reported to the police across the provinces and territories of Canada, and are spliced according to age (child vs. adult). There are some issues with this database (e.g., see my recent blog post here), which they do acknowledge in their publications. Essentially, it's not clear the extent to which missingness is represented in these data, meaning that we don't know the number of persons who have gone missing nationally. But, the NCMPUR does provide some first insights into missing persons across Canada, so it has value as long as we recognize it's limitations.
